30/82: December 23rd @ NYK

Karl-Anthony Towns and former Raptor OG Anunoby each finished with 31 points in an easy win for the Knicks.

Final Score: Raptors 125, Knicks 139

Anunoby shot 13/15 from the field, his only misses coming beyond the arc. Complementing him was Towns, who fell three assists shy of a triple-double. Seven Knicks players finished with at least 12 points, showcasing the team’s offensive depth.

The other former Raptor, Precious Achiuwa,

RJ Barrett and Scottie Barnes combined for 47 points and 14 assists. This was especially good for Barnes as his previous game left a lot to be desired.

It’s been a long season for the Raptors and this current eight-game losing streak has felt much longer. It’s just been that sort of season. But there (very likely) should be a light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak.

Question for the Knicks: Currently 25th in the NBA in rebounds per game, is the New York front office looking for help on the glass via trade? They’ve had a number of long-term injuries at center.

The Raptors head to Memphis to play the Grizzlies Thursday. 8pm tip off.
