3/34: December 7th vs. MIN

Britta Curl-Salemme and Michela Cava finished Saturday afternoon's game with two goals each to lift the defending Walter Cup champions to a road victory.

Final Score: Sceptres 3, Frost 6

With seven out of a possible nine points from the first three games, the Minnesota Frost are showing that there’s no championship hangover.

This was a surprisingly clean hockey game, with only three penalties - all of them coming in the second period.

Despite the loss, what was good to see for the Sceptres was three players register their first goals of the season - Daryl Watts, Jesse Compher, and Victoria Bach.

Again, Toronto started last season poorly and ended up in the Walter Cup semi-finals - in a shorter season.

Question for the Frost: Currently on top of the PWHL standings early, what can Minnesota do to score even more? Before Saturday’s offensive outburst, they sat at five goals for and five goals against.

The Sceptres head to New York for a match with #1 overall draft pick Sarah Fillier and the Sirens Wednesday. 7pm puck drop.
