Max Domi and Nicholas Robertson seem to like this time of year. They both found the back of the net again Friday night in Buffalo.
Six different goal-scorers found the back of the net for Toronto. Depth scoring has at times been a concern for the blue-and-white but not on Friday night.
Matt Murray’s 24 saves on 27 shots did the deed for the Leafs as he earned his first NHL start in over 18 months and came out with a nice win.
Question for the Sabres: Will Buffalo make some major trades this season in an attempt to pivot to a more aggressive rebuild?
